Job Description / Duties

The Boudreau and Ha laboratories at Dalhousie University are seeking an exceptional post-doctoral fellow to lead a cross-disciplinary, translational research project in the immunology of lung cancer and radiation therapy. This work aligns expertise in human immunology, clinical sampling, humanized mouse models, and tumor-immune cell interactions. We are highly collaborative and collegial group. Qualifications / Required Skills

Applicants must be highly motivated and collaborative, with solid experience in the majority of the following, with a willingness and desire to learn the rest: handling of viable human samples (blood and tumour), immunology, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry and humanized mice. Applicants must have a PhD with 0-2 years’ experience as a post-doctoral fellow, and a strong track record of publication in peer-reviewed journals and presentations to scientific audiences. Candidates should be able to independently design and assess their experiments and research program, but will have assistance from the PIs, research technicians and other laboratory members.

We access state-of-the-art flow cytometers and microscopes with dedicated expert operators. Tumour samples from a comprehensive lung tumour bank will also be accessible.
