A full time graduate student position (PhD or MSc) is available in the laboratory of Dr Mohammad-Ali Jenabian, the holder of the Canada research chair in Immuno-Virology, at the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM), to work on a CIHR-funded research project on the on the mechanisms of chronic inflammation during HIV infection.
- BSc or MSc in immunology, microbiology, biological sciences, biochemistry or a related field.
- Strong interest in working with human specimens and HIV.
- Laboratory experience in cell biology, molecular biology, flow cytometry and immunology.
- Excellent scientific writing and communication skill in English or French
