Join CSI
Thank you for your interest in joining The Canadian Society for Immunology. CSI offers five classes of membership that supports those in all stages of their careers.
Benefits of becoming a Member of CSI
As a member of the CSI you will be eligible to apply for student,
postdoctoral and junior faculty travel awards to the annual Canadian
Society for Immunology meeting as well as travel awards given out every
third year to attend the International Congress of Immunology's annual
meeting. As a CSI member you will be able to register for the annual
CSI meeting at a reduced registration rate.
Membership Categories
Elected (Full) Member is available to those persons who have conducted research, who have published papers in scientific journals, and who are actively engaged in investigation, teaching or other forms of scholarship in the field of immunology or related sciences. To be eligible, a candidate must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent graduate degree in immunology or a related discipline and be an author on one publication on an immunological topic. Emeritus Member is open to those persons who having been elected members, have retired from active employment because of age or illness. For details and application procedures, click here.
Associate Member is open to those persons who, although not qualified for elected membership, are postdoctoral fellows, research assistants or teachers in Immunology and related sciences. For details and application procedures, click here.
Student Member is open to those persons who, although not qualifying for elected or associate membership are graduate or undergraduate students enrolled in educational or training programs that could lead to a career in research in immunology or related fields. Honorary Membership shall be those persons who, not being elected, emeritus, associate or student members of the Society, have rendered distinguished service to Immunology or related sciences is reserved for those who have shown exceptional achievement in the field of immunology. They are selected by the CSI Council.

Renew Membership Dues
If you have held a CSI membership in the last three membership years, please visit the Join CSI section to renew your dues (if you have changed your email address since you last renewed,
please login with your original email address and update your profile
accordingly)

Receipt for dues: Receipts for your membership dues will be automatically sent out
by email once you have successfully completed your online registration. If you need a receipt at any
other time please send a request to membership@csi-sci.ca
Past members who have not renewed their dues for last three membership years
will no longer receive CSI information via email but are encouraged to
reapply for membership by selecting their membership category above.
